The Delkor Linear Screen (DLS) is the result of extensive trials as part of trouble shooting in the CIP/CIL process in gold plants, the effective removal of wood fiber and tramp oversize material from milled gold slurries.

Delkor Linear Screen (DLS) is capable of screening between 150 and 2000 microns, and is now widely accepted by the Mining Industry, worldwide. Since the first installation in 1985, numerous machines have proved their worth in gold mines, gold dump reclamation plants and other metallurgical process operations around the world.

The DLS removes wood fiber, carbon, vegetation, carbonaceous ash or any other tramp material from fine mineral or chemical slurries prior to:

  Gold plant leach
  CIP absorption
  Gravity concentration
  Flotation
  On stream analysis
  Dump re-treatment processes

Delkor Linear Screen (DLS) is also suitable for:

Removal of asbestos from liquid streams Removal of coarse boiler ash from re-pulped fly ash dumps
Washing contaminated fine pulps in the paper industry
Scavenging loaded carbon from gold plant tailings
Fine screening of milling plant cyclone overflow
Fine screening of feed to gravity concentration plants

Salient features:

The DLS operates with no vibration, preventing realignment of oversize material with the cloth aperture, ensuring   retention of all oversize material, ensuring around 98,1% removal of wood fiber.
Wide range of cloth apertures - from 150 um to 2 000 um
Quick cloth changing time of 20 - 30 minutes
Cloth made from wear resistant polyester
  Low maintenance costs
  Low power consumption
  Low noise levels
Low cost of supporting civil and steel structures
  Simple operation
  No high cost moving parts
  Availabilities of 99%
No scaling of cloth from chemical precipitation
