Delkor has sold over 70
thickeners around the world in 2010, many of these projects were used as case studies throughout the seminar to outline Delkor’s strong technical capability and identify areas where the Thickener
Centre of Excellence team can develop new & existing
high rate thickening,
paste thickening and
flocculant plant technology through strong research and sound execution that is aligned with Project 2015.
Project 2015 is a strategy defined by the Delkor management team which aims to build a company that, in combination with the resources available throughout the Bateman Group, will achieve certain goals in terms of market penetration, quality of the product, innovation and service. This strategy, mapped over the upcoming five year period, includes various steps necessary to re-orientate the Delkor global organisation to match existing and future expectations of our clients as well as the trends being seen in the market which Delkor serve.
This year’s seminar was a huge success and provided variable development solutions from the talented Delkor personnel who attended and will no doubt enable Delkor to strive to become the market leader and continue to be the solid liquid separation specialist into the New Year and beyond.
Delkor Australia also held their annual Melbourne Cup Golf Day during the Thickener seminar. The golf day entertained 160 players with some 40 invited guests from Rio Tinto, GR Engineering Services, Arrcon, Ammtec, Fortesque Metals Group, Aker Solutions, Crossland Resources and Bateman Engineering. It was an enjoyable day which saw GR Engineering Services win the 2010 Delkor Melbourne Cup Invitational Trophy. The event is becoming very popular and is likely to expand even further in 2011.
