The Delkor Clarifier is typically used when overflow clarity is a critical issue. With water being such a scarce resource in many of the mining areas around the world, the Delkor Clarifier is widely used to maximize this commodity.
With sizes up to 30m in diameter, Delkor engineers will customize each design taking into account process flow rates, solids percentage, required clarities and solids removal. Delkor can supply a bridge and mechanism for a concrete or existing tank or alternatively supply it with an elevated steel tank.
Delkor Clarifiers use the filtering action of the mud bed to produce overflows that are very low in suspended solids (< 25ppm). Efficient de-aeration, flocculation and mixing can be achieved in the external de-aerator/mixing vessel.
