Delkor Australia is supplying five 158 m2 Delkor Horizontal Belt Filters, inclusive of ancillaries, in a contract from Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) for its Solomon Project in Pilbara, Western Australia. The contract was awarded in July 2011, with commissioning due in April 2012.
Delkor Australia has supplied one 122 m2 Delkor belt filter in a contract from Stratford Coal for its recent “Coal Handling and Preparation Plant” upgrade near Gloucester, New South Wales Australia. The contract was awarded in September 2010, with commissioning completed in June 2011.
Circular cells reduce the amount of dead volume when compared to square cells. This enables a much higher effective pulp volume, hence increasing the effective energy input into the flotation cell.
