SALES ENGINEER - AUSTRALIA

We are seeking to appoint a Sales Engineer with 5 years or more working experience to join our small dynamic team, and take up a Sales Engineer position in our Perth office. The product range includes liquid solid separation equipment and specialized screens for the mining, mineral processing and industrial markets. We service a range of industries throughout Australia and Asia. This role provides an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to be part of an innovative team.

In this role, the person will be required to:

  • Review customer inquiries, prepare quotations, review and prepare tender submissions.
  • Conduct testwork on various samples.
  • Conduct pilot plant tests.
  • Calculate process and mechanical design.
  • Work independently.
  • Perform on site commissioning of installed equipment.

Your degree, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering, will be complemented by your working experience and knowledge. You will have at least 5 years working experience either in mineral processing plant, or water treatment plant. Sales and application experience in mining and industrial equipment will be highly regarded, with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets. Your strength is building solid relationships with key people in both small and large organizations. You thrive on the challenge of a competitive market where you know you have the best products! You will be turning customer problems into technical and profitable solutions. Your commitment to quality and excellence is combined with your ability to work autonomously. A solid working knowledge of Microsoft programs is essential.

PROCESS & TEST ENGINEER

Our North American office requires a Process & Test Engineer, located in Vancouver, BC and this would be the preferred base for the applicant. Alternative bases open to discussion. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience in the field of Process Engineering or Process Plant operation. Additional technical skills and personal qualities would also be favoured:

-A Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering Degree or Diploma or other similar tertiary qualification.

-Experience working in an analytical laboratory or similar

-Experience in analyzing customer specifications along with a strong technical/analytical orientation.

-Resilient and demonstrate initiative and be able to make objective decisions with little or no guidance.

-Ability to travel frequently and work in remote locations independently without day to day supervision

-Ability to work under pressure to submit reports within the indicted time frame.

- Ability to work with a global team consisting of engineering and commercial staff.

-Ability to present results verbally or in written format in a logical and well argued manner.

PROFICIENCY WITH THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IS MANDATORY, SPANISH SPEAKING SKILLS WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE.

MANUFACTURING PROJECT ENGINEER

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience in the field of Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering preferably exposed to Process Plant operations in the Mining, Petroleum and Chemical Industries Additional technical skills and personal qualities would also be favoured:

-An Engineering Degree or Diploma or other similar tertiary qualification.

-Familiar with Provincial and Federal safety regulations and a proven record of safe fabrication policies and site working practices and conversant with ISO standards and documentation.

-Strong organizational skills; specifically with the use of planning systems and cost and quality control systems.

-Ability to foster team relationships and work with others in the area of design, site installation, QA and Expediting Roles.

-Strict attention to detail with the ability to work effectively as an independent unit without day to day supervision.

- Show resilience and demonstrate initiative in decision making processes related to manufacturing needs, time constrains and client needs.

-Whilst based primarily in the home base office the applicant should be prepared to travel throughout Canada and the U.S. to supervise final installation and start up of machinery.

-Registration as a Professional Engineer in Canada, or other similar body would be favoured but is not essential.

- Good communication skills specifically by e-mail, in meetings and on site.
